Nancy Blumberg Archambeau's  battle with breast cancer ended on December 27, 2009.  She was 49.   Nancy lived in Asheville, NC with her husband Dan.   She loved spending time outdoors,  especially  hiking in the mountains.   A lover of many animal, Nancy had 4 dogs and several cats.  Nancy was a free spirit who lived life on her own terms.  She believed strongly in living a healthy lifestyle and  did just that in every way.   Upbeat and positive,  finding  the good in everyone; her trusting and warm hearted nature  radiated true beauty and innocence.  Although she may not have known it- she was an inspiration.  During her illness she suffered in silence.  Instead of dwelling on her losses she focused on setting goals and celebrating small achievements; never giving up and always looking to the future.  She gained great strength from her beliefs and without knowing so, she gave strength to others.   Although her battle may have ended - she didn't lose - she never lost her spirit.

She leaves the loving  Archambeau Family who were very close to her heart offering great care and support, especially during her  during her illness.  Nancy was the youngest of four siblings; sisters, Barbara, Shelley and brother John.

Nancy touched us all in different ways,  leaving us each with a different gift..... and she will remain in our hearts forever.

We hope you will be able to come out and celebrate Nancy's life & memory with us on June 20th.  We are hoping to raise as much money as we can for the breast cancer research foundation so researchers can  find a cure. Please find it in your heart to donate online if you can not make the event.
